Son Chiriya Mid Movie Review: Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhiki Pednekar,Ranvir Shorey make sure to keep it gripping

Sonchiriya is a story of this vicious circle which we have all mugged up in our early growing years.

“Snake preys on a mice and mice is being preyed on by vultures.” Abhishek Chaubey’s Son Chiriya is a story of this vicious circle which we have all mugged up in our early growing years. Son Chiriya set in the Emergency period is a poignant tale of caste politics, rebels with top knock performances by Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranvir Shorey among others. However, the pace of the story leaves you in fatigue and if you don’t have a stomach for such genre, you might not even make it to the interval.

However, the performances by the lead actors have managed to keep me hooked post interval. Let’s hope it picks up pace in the second half.

Stay tuned for full review.
