Avengers: Endgame which was the most awaited movie of the year has been creating many box office records in India as well as globally. Talking about the Indian box office, it has already collected more than Rs 271 crores till now. On the second Friday, it saw a dip of around 20% in comparison to the last day of its first week. As per the BOI report, the movie collected around Rs 12 crores. The report also stated that the movie will cross Rs 300-crore mark by the end of the second weekend.
However, the movie has gathered less collection in the regional versions over the last few days, but the English version is still doing great in many metro cities. The BOI report read as," The Friday business probably puts the 400 crore nett mark out of reach and the target will be the all-format business of Dangal which was around 387 crore nett."
In fact, achieving the 400-crore mark could be difficult as the Hollywood blockbuster collections do see huge weekly drops. So, 375 crore nett mark is the realistic goal for Avengers: Endgame. Also, the second Friday is in the range of last years biggest Bollywood grosser Sanju. For the unversed, for the first three days, Avengers: Endgame collected more than Rs 50 crores and since Monday, there has been a drop in the collection.
