For the unversed, the movie collected staggering Rs 41 crore 75 lakhs on the day one. On day two, the movie minted around Rs 30 crore. Friday saw a drop and the collection stood at Rs 21 crore 25 lakhs. So now the total stands at 118 crore and, 25 lakhs (Approx).
From the collection, it seems that Khans still rule the box office as the highest and second highest day one collection record is by Aamir Khan and Salman Khan respectively. For the unversed, the first-day collection of Bharat is the highest ever for the actor. Yes, Bharat's first numbers have left behind his own record Prem Ratan Dhan Payo even though there was an India vs South Africa cricket World Cup match.
And Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan has the record of the highest first-day collection as the movie had collected around 50 crores at the box office which is still untouched by others. The quantum of difference between the records made by Khans as against others remains untouched for now.
