The third installment of the Commando series starring Vidyut Jammwal in the lead hit the screens on November 29, this Friday. The action thriller also stars Adah Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah and marks the Bollywood debut of Angira Dhar. The film is a sequel to the 2017 film Commando 2: The Black Money Trail and revolves around Vidyut as Karanveer Singh Dogra, who is encharged with the duty of catching a criminal gang who is a threat to the country. Accompanying him, we see Adah as Inspector Bhavana Reddy and Angira as Mallika Sood, making for two fearless cop ladies.
Commando 3 opened with a decent collection, minting Rs 4.74 crore on its first Friday. Day 2 saw a slight growth in numbers with a nett earning of Rs 5.64 crore on Saturday, which sums up its total collection up to Rs. 10.38 crore. The likes of Bihar and CP Berar which are single-screen dominated have the same collections as day one. It is solid Saturday growth for this type of film and the mass circuits have not dropped much which is a plus.

If it happens that the film takes a good leap on Sunday, it can fetch great success to the franchise in terms of Box Office numbers. Previously released, Commando and Commando 2 have not been able to cross the 25 crore mark but bagging Commando and Commando in the first two days, Commando 3 stands a strong chance to achieve the milestone for the series.
