Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi hit the theatres last week and is giving a poor performance at the box office. In fact, the film received mixed reviews from the audience. Jabariya Jodi is based on instances of ‘Pakadwa Shaadi’ (groom kidnappings) prevalent in Bihar. In the film, Sidharth plays a character named Abhay Singh while Parineeti essays yhe role of a girl called Babli Yadav.
Jabariya Jodi fell as expected on Tuesday after Bakrid brought up its collections to an extent on Monday. The film bagged Rs 1.25 crore nett and the first week will add upto around Rs 16 crore nett and that will be it for the film as it will be out of most screens on Thursday. The first week business will be almost its lifetime business.

Sidharth’s upcoming projects include Marjaavaan and Shershaah. While Parineeti is currently is working on her badminton skills as she is prepping for the biopic of Saina Nehwal. She also has the hindi remake of The Girl On Train lined up.
