Romeo Akbar Walter is doing average at the box office and it collected around Rs 1.25 crore, as per Box Office India's report. The movie saw 30% drop on its second Friday from Thursday and the same is quite reasonable. There were no major releases this Friday and the same has enabled this film to get some collections on the second Friday. So, the total collection of the movie stands at 30 crores 75 lakhs in a week's time. For the unversed, the movie could have faced some challenge from PM Narendra Modi's biopic, but the Vivek Oberoi starrer has been pushed ahead and the same left an open ground for John Abraham starrer.

John spoke about RAW to HT. He mentioned, “One needs to be very responsible when you are making a film which is predominantly factual, is on the country and involves the armed forces. And one has to research well. In the case of RAW, my director’s father worked in the military intelligence for four years. So the research and sources we got to go to, to back our information up, is validated. I am sure no one can turn around in our film and say, ‘this didn’t happen’”.
