The first look of Dhadak starring debutante Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter was unveiled just a few hours ago and their crackling chemistry has already become the talking point of the town.
In the silhouette poster released, the lovely couple is seen bringing an air of freshness with them.
While it has got us all impressed, we asked Ishaan's mother, Neelima Azeem, what she thought of Ishaan's Hindi debut and of course, the posters.
"I think they are very beautiful and artistic and at the same time there is a lot of creativity. Both Ishaan and Jahnvi are looking beautiful together and the poster has been made so artistically," the proud mother said.
Given that Ishaan is making his Bollywood debut under Karan Johar's Dharma Production, we asked Neelima about her thoughts on it. "Nothing could be better than this and I think they are doing something very different and interesting. (Shashank) Khaitan is somebody I can completely trust Ishaan with and Karan has been so warm and loving to Ishaan. So, I think they are going to make a fantastic film."
Ask her if Ishaan sought her advice before singing the movie, Neelima adds, "Of course, we all have had discussions. In fact, he spoke to me, his brother (Shahid Kapoor), his sister in law (Mira Rajput), so as a family we all knew. All of us are very happy today."
Any particular advice she gave to Ishaan? "There is no advice. He is in such good hands that there is no question of any advice. Whatever he had to imbibe, he has, be it artistically, as an artist and as a human being. He picks up what he wants to pick up and if he wants to share, he does and we discuss it," she adds.
Speaking further about Ishaan, she stated, "I am very happy that Ishaan chhota sa aaya hai and he has arrived with a bang and he and Janhvi make for a beautiful couple."
"For newcomers, they don't even look like newcomers, there is so much grace and depth. So, it is beautiful and they both are so talented and make for a lovely pair. It is all very exciting," Neelima concluded.
