EXCLUSIVE: Bombay HC annuls FIR against Meetu Singh; Adv Madhav Thorat: We'll go to Supreme Court for Priyanka

Earlier in the day today, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti had penned a heartfelt note for the late actor

Pinkvilla had earlier reported that the Bombay High Court on Monday will announce its verdict in the case registered against Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters for allegedly putting the actor on illegal medication without physical consultation. Rhea Chakraborty had reportedly filed a complaint against Sushant’s siblings and Dr Tarun Kumar of Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. While speaking to Pinkvilla earlier today Advocate Madhav Thorat, who is representing Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had said that he is expecting that the FIR registered by the Bandra police station will be quashed.

However, as per the verdict, the FIR filed against Meetu Singh has been quashed, but the FIR filed against Priyanka Singh was not. When Pinkvilla reached out to Thorat for his reaction he said, “After reading the court order we will decide as to on which footing we should proceed and as to how soon we should approach the Supreme Court. But we’ll certainly be going to the Supreme Court for Priyanka.” Earlier in the day today, SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti had penned a heartfelt note for the late actor.

She wrote on Instagram, “Kahan chala gaya baby?? Just come back... it has been 8 months...haven’t seen you or heard from you.... Please, come back!!.” Check out the post below:

While speaking to Pinkvilla earlier, Advocate Thorat had questioned the delay behind filing the FIR. “I don’t understand the delay in filing an FIR. Why did she (Rhea Chakraborty) wait for such a long time until she got arrested? Even otherwise the honourable Supreme Court has by it’s order directed the CBI to investigate any allegations regarding to the death of SSR. Therefore, in lieu of such explicit order, there was no requirement and/or authority of the State of Maharashtra to register any fresh FIR in the subject relating to the death of SSR,” he had said.
