Cannes film fest red carpet most organised: Frieda Pinto

"Slumdog Millionaire" fame Frieda Pinto, who was seen at the ongoing 66th International Cannes Film Festival, says the red carpet at the French Riviera is the most organised across the globe.

She is at the fiesta as the brand ambassador of a leading global beauty brand.

On day one of the fest, the actress walked the red carpet in a pink Gucci gown, while on the second day, she wore a 'gild web gown' designed by Sanchita Ajjampur.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and Sonam Kapoor may have received a mixed reaction for their red carpet appearances at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival but world renowned fashion designer Ritu Beri feels proud about their ensemble selections.

She has hailed them for choosing an “Indian” look for the event.

Vidya made three appearances in traditional Indian costumes - a maroon lehenga, an ivory sari paired with a brown blouse and a light pink anarkali, for three different occasions on one day.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta says certain scenes in "Ishkq in Paris" are inspired by her life. The film also has bits from director Prem Raj's life.

"Ishkq in Paris", Preity's first production venture, is releasing May 24.

Talking about the film, she said: "(It) is not ispired from my life, but yes certain instances (are inspired from my life). I won't lie about that."

Actor Arshad Warsi, who played Circuit in the "Munna Bhai" films with Sanjay Dutt essaying the lead role, says he won't do any new film in the popular franchise without the real "Munna Bhai".

He says neither can he, nor will audiences be able to see anybody else in the role instead of Sanjay, who is currently in jail serving his sentence in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.
