Stress is known to be one of the most harmful feelings for the body which causes it to stop functioning as well as it should be. Anemia

Iron deficiency is the most common form of Anemia and is a cause for hair loss. To reverse this, a simple iron supplement or increasing the consumption of dairy products is sure to help hair grow back and reduce problems like fatigue and pale skin. 

Pregnancy

One of the most normal things every woman goes through in life is pregnancy which changes her body a lot. The process is extremely stressful but the good part is that once the pregnancy period is over, hair definitely grows back!

Protein is extremely important for hair growth. Not including protein in your diet can be extremely detrimental to hair loss since proteins are very important for good hair health. If you are a vegetarian, this could be one of the reasons that your hair is constantly falling out, which is why it is important to keep consuming fish oils and protein based beans. 

Extreme weight loss

Sudden weight loss is indicative of physical problems and trauma. Loss of hair is a common side effect of weight loss even if the weight loss is good for you! It is your body's way of telling you that it is not getting all the minerals and nutrients that it used to but will reverse itself over a period of time once your body gets used to the pattern. 

PCOS

Polycystic ovary syndrome is an imbalance in the male and female sex hormones that ultimately leads to ovarian cysts, gain in weight and also has a higher risk of diabetes. Hair thinning is one of the side effects of this while hair growth on the face and body is common during this period. 

Medication

If you are on medication like blood thinners, antidepressants blood pressure medications and more, it is highly likely that you will experience hair loss. Talk to your doctor and either reduce your dosage or switch your mediation for something that isn't so harmful to your hair. 

Heredity

If there is an issue of hair loss in your family where either the men or women have lost hair at a young age, then you are more prone to hair loss than others. This first signs of hair loss is a receding hairline, thinning of hair and bald spots on the head. 

Overuse of products

Hair treatments like chemically permanently straightening or getting a perm, is definitely going to result in a lot of hair loss. Increased use of products like hairspray and overuse of styling tools will also cause hair to break and fall off quickly.

One of the most common reasons for hair loss is Hypothyroidism which is the medial term for having an underachieve thyroid gland. This gland produces hormones which are critical for metabolism and growth development and when it is not producing enough hormones, hair loss is extremely common.
