Scoop is a character drama based on the book 'Behind Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison' by Jigna Vora. It follows the story of Jagruti Pathak (Karishma Tanna), an ambitious crime journalist. Her world is turned upside down when she is charged with the heinous murder of a colleague journalist, Jaideb Sen, and ends up in a prison cell with individuals she formerly covered. Among those charged include a famed sharpshooter, a shady bookie, and the infamous Chhota Rajan. While she awaits a trial, the truth is discreetly buried.
