Did you know? Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan shot for a scene in Shah Rukh Khan's My Name Is Khan
While SOTY 2 introduced Ananya Panday into the world of showbiz, the young heroine had shot for one scene for the Karan Johar directorial MNIK.
2019 saw a few new faces getting introduced in Bollywood already. Chunky Panday and Bhavana Panday's daughter Ananya Panday is one of them. The young actress, who made her foray into the industry with Student Of The Year 2, received a lot of praises for her performance in the college drama.
But do you know that this wasn't the first time Ananya actually shot for a scene? Yes, in an interview with us, she revealed that her first acting stint was on the sets of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer My Name Is Khan. She told us, "Actually, Suhana (Khan) and I were both on the sets of My Name Is Khan and there was this scene where the team needed a crowd. Karan (Johar) asked both of us to stand in the crowd and walk. We felt it was our moment and I believe we overacted there, too." she laughs.
That wasn't all. "So we did the scene and were very excited to watch it on screen. But when the movie released, we saw our scene wasn't there only." Interestingly, Suhana, Ananya and Shanaya Kapoor are BFFs and also have a Whatsapp group called 'Charlie's Angels'. 
Even before SOTY 2 hit theatres, the actress had already signed her second movie. She will next be seen in Mudassar Aziz's remake of Pati, Patni Aur Woh, which is being toplined by Kartik Aaryan and also stars Bhumi Pednekar along with them. She will complete the film which will release this year in December.
