Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi box office collection Day 1: Sonakshi Sinha starrer gets a slow start
Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi which stars Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty and Jimmy Sheirgill got a slow start and collected around 2.70 crores in India. Read on to know more about the day one BO collection.
Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty and Jimmy Sheirgill starter Happy Phirr Bhag Jaegi experienced a slow start at the box office on its opening day. The movie collected Rs 2.70 on its first day. "Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi has a slow start on Day 1... Fared better in North... Needs to witness substantial growth over the weekend + maintain a strong trend on weekdays to leave a mark... Fri ₹ 2.70 cr. India biz... First part had collected ₹ 2.32 cr on Day 1," famous trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
The comedy-drama movie was released in a good number of screens and is expected to do good business over the weekend as the movie doesn’t have major competition in Utkarsh Sharma’s Genius. But there’s a good news for the makers Anand L. Rai and Krishika Lulla as the movie opened quite better than its predecessor Happy Bhag Jayegi. The movie had opened to Rs 2.29 crores two years back. Apart from the above-mentioned stars the movie also stars Jassie Gill, Ali Fazal and Piyush Mishra in key roles. The movie is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz. 
“It is about mistaken identity and the confusion created by it. The first part was only about Diana’s Happy fighting for love and landing up in Pakistan but in this one, Sonakshi is mistaken to be Happy (Diana) in China. The confusion creates humour. We thoroughly enjoyed shooting the film. I hope audience enjoys watching it too," director Mudassar Aziz told Indian Express. Will you watch the movie or will give a skip?
