Alia Bhatt: Gone Girl is totally me. When I saw the film, I wanted somebody to make this film for me

Alia Bhatt speaks about her will to play a villain on screen.

Alia Bhatt, who is currently busy with Meghna Gular's Raazi, got candid about her interests in a podcast show titled, Take 2 with Anupama and Rajeev. 

Among many things, Alia revealed that she would love to play a villain on celluloid. 

"I’m dying to play a villain! I would love to play a villain. Gone Girl is totally me! When I saw Gone Girl I was like please can somebody make this film for me. I called up my friend Abhishek and said listen can you please forget what you’re writing just write this gone girl and make it right now! It’s a killer part. How amazing is it to play something that is so completely off, we only can do it in the movies," she said. 

We wonder how would Alia look as a villain?

On the work front, Alia will be seen opposite Vicky Kaushal in the movie. In the espionage thriller set during the 1971 war between India and Pakistan, Alia is to play a Kashmiri girl married to a Pakistani army officer, who provides valuable information to the Indian forces. 

Apart from this, Karan Johar recently announced the first part of his ambitious trilogy titled Brahmastra starring Alia, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. 

Alia will also be seen sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh in Gully Boys.
