Bheed garnered mixed reviews from the critics. While parts of the film were definitely thought provoking and emotional along with being quite successful in unflinchingly laying open the deeply ingrained casre divide inside the nation and it's people, it failed to intricately weave the plot between real and fictionalised representations. However, as a whole the film did capture the immense plight and tragedy of the situation for the whole world to see and compare the glaring differences between the different classes, castes and religions in an uncompromised sense.
