Aamir Khan hosted a gala Diwali bash at his Bandra residence where he invited a whole bunch of celebs. The bash went on late night with night long teen-patti sessions.
In attendance at the bash were Kangana Ranaut, Jackie and Tiger Shroff, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Anupama Chopra, Raju Hirani, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kunal Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Luv Sinha, Farhan Akhtar, Imtiaz Ali, Ashutosh Gowariker and Aamir's daughter Ira.
Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to share the first look from his and Farhan Akhtar-starrer “Do”. The movie is currently being shot in Delhi.
“And as I prepare for my lines and the action with my co-star Farhan Akhtar, words in the speaking of the characters spring up almost like they belonged to me - Ishrat e katra hai dariya mei fana ho jana, dard ka hàd se guzarna hai dava ho jana,” he posted about the photograph.
It seems the scene was being shot at Hauz Khas Quila in Delhi and Big B and Farhan are engaged in a conversation over a cup of tea.
Pooja Bhatt will mark her comeback to the silver screen with Saif Ali Khan’s “Mr. Chaalu”. The actress-filmmaker will play a detective in the movie.
The film’s producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar first wanted to rope in Tabu to play the role, but later zeroed down on Pooja.
Pooja was last seen on the silver screen in “Everybody Saya I’m Fine!” in 2001.
Saif will essay a manipulative womaniser the movie and Kangana Ranaut will essay his love interest. The movie will also feature Richa Chadda, who will play a girl in Saif’s life.
Ranveer Singh has spoken for gender equality in a video. The actor has supported Farhan Akhtar’s and Google’s jointly-promoted campaign “ReachForTheSky”.
The campaign is an initiative to generate awareness about the need to get women online.
In the video, the actor says, “Men and women are created equal. That’s not some smart slogan, that’s a fact. It is up to each and every one of us to make a change and it is possible. Enable, empower, transform. Chulein aasman.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Madhuri Dixit, Rahul Bose, Saina Nehwal, Sehwag came together in a noble gesture for speaking up against the very unfortunate events of violence against children happening at a high rate in India.
They mentioned that we read every day about violence against children. However, children deserve a safe childhood without humiliation, suffering and violence. The stars pleaded for everyone to work towards creating a better society for the most fragile and innocent citizens of the country.
