Avengers: Endgame Box Office Collection Day 1 India: The film's opening is at par with THIS highest grosser

We all knew that Avengers: Endgame, one of the most awaited movies of the year will break many box office collection records and the prediction is right. In India, as per Box Office India, the movie collected a remarkable Rs 52 crores (nett) across India while it released in only 1,700 theatres. As per nett collections, the movie is the third highest after Bahubali - The Conclusion and 2.0. In terms of gross collections, it could be fourth as the Thugs of Hindostan collected a slightly higher amount. As per official statistics, the movie has collected Rs 63.21cr GBOC and Rs 53.10cr NBOC (all languages).
The film has not set any circuit records as the final collections have are not yet out. The BOI report reads, "The South has also clocked huge numbers with all Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Mysore all going over with the Mysore number coming from just 70 theatres."
The report read as, "The Hindi belt is also huge with all mass circuits recording huge occupancy and challenging the biggest Hindi films despite a release which is on less than half the cinemas. The film just breaks the myth that it is about screens, collections are not about adding screens to your release its about having an audience. Only when you have an audience then screens can help. This film proves that a 40 crores nett number can be done on 2,000 screens when hardly any film is doing it releasing on 4,000 screens."

Owing to great pre-sales, the BOI reports that the movie may hit a range of Rs 160-165 crores nett in the weekend and the same is super huge as it is far ahead of any Hindi film till date.
