Dream Girl Box Office Collection Day 9: Ayushmann Khurrana's quirky drama to soon cross Rs 100 crore mark

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha, Dream Girl opened to good numbers and after nine days at the domestic box office, the film has managed to inch closer to Rs 100 crore. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures, the comedy drama is one of a kind as it shows the talented Ayushmann playing dual characters. The film also features talented actors such as Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz in supporting roles.
According to a report in Box Office India, Dream Girl jumped around over 75 per cent on its second Saturday to collect Rs 9 crore nett. With this, the film's total collection after nine days now stands at almost Rs 84 crore nett. The film is following a very similar pattern to Chhichhore in its second weekend last week. The collections for second Friday and Saturday are almost similar for both films.
If the film continues this steady run during the week, it will soon cross Rs 100 crore. Dream Girl has minted the most amount of money from the Delhi and Uttar Pradesh circuit. With Sunday's collections yet to be taken into account, looks like Dream Girl will witness a great weekend at the box office.
