De De Pyaar De Box Office Collection Day 1: Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet’s film is off to a decent start
Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer De De Pyaar De has finally hit the screens and the film is expected to have a decent start at the box office.
De De Pyaar De starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet and Tabu has hit the screens today, i.e. May 17, 2019 and it is a romantic comedy, co-written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali. As soon as the trailer of the film was dropped online, fans were super thrilled to watch the film because given that the trailer was such a fun ride, the viewers expected the film to be double the fun. And now that the film has hit the screens, fans are taking to social media and are all praises for this Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer rom-com.
Besides the ensemble star cast, what has also added to the buzz around the film is its songs and dialogues. Talking about the occupancy and Day 1 box office of the film, Film Trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel confirmed the occupancy of the film on Twitter as he wrote, “#DeDePyaarDe has a decent start at the box office, film opened with 25-30% occupancy across India.” In another tweet, Kadel wrote that the film is hilarious and mature piece of work as he wrote, “#DeDePyaarDe is HILARIOUS , EMOTIONAL & MATURE FILM. Superbly written, Fantastic dialogues but above all BRILLIANT performances by @ajaydevgn ,Tabu & @rakulpreet . Director akvi ali as a Director has done a phenomenal job. Must watch film.”
Trade Analyst Girish Johar had informed that De De Pyaar De should easily earn over Rs 10 crore on Day 1 and might even cross Rs 50 crore mark over the weekend. “The buzz around the film is pretty much strong as the trailer has been loved by everyone,” said Girish Johar, adding, “I peg the opening day collection of De De Pyaar De at Rs 12-13 crore and it might also earn Rs 15 crore owing to a positive response from the audience. With IPL wrapped up, people will now head to the theaters for movies.”
