Rani Mukerji who made her comeback with Hichki has hit Rs 100 crore mark in China. For the unversed, the movie showcases the life of a teacher who changes the lives of many students from the economically backward background while she deals with her own nervous system disorder Tourette Syndrome. The film which was released on October 12 has the universal theme and also showcases positive message that resonates with Chinese audience as well. Talking about the BO collection, the movie made USD 12 million (INR 102.5 crore) in the second week itself. China's cinephiles are loving Rani's acting and the movie.

For the Chinese audience, the title of the movie was Teacher with Hiccup. Rani even promoted the movie extensively in the famous cities of China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Chengdu. Thanks to great reviews and positive word of mouth, the movie is all set to have a solid third weekend too.
