Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram is all set to make his debut with the upcoming film, Adithya Varma, Tamil remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. The Tamil remake, Adithya Varma is all set to hit screens soon and Dhruv Vikram is quite excited about it. In a recent interview, Dhruv spoke about how he left no stone unturned to get into the skin of the character. The young actor also revealed about how he dealt with the criticisms received during Adithya Varma teaser.

Dhruv Vikram recently in an interview to TOI spoke about how it was difficult to step into Vijay Deverakonda’s shoes for Arjun Reddy’s remake titled, Adithya Varma. He said, “The makers asked me to smoke and have booze. I don’t do both and it was difficult. My character is that of an impulsive and temperamental guy. It is very easy for a person of his mindset to get involved in other’s lives. So, to get into the skin of the character, I would lock myself up in a room, listen to music and fidget with my phone. The interaction at home became less. I found myself getting angry fast and shouting at others.”

On Kabir Singh had received flak for being misogynistic and how he too faced criticism, Dhruv said, “When the teaser of Varma released, there was a lot of disapproval. When people pan your acting, you know what to work on and be a better actor. But, when it is about your appearance and looks, it can be quite demeaning and hard on you. I had grown a beard for the first time ever in my life, for Varma. People said that it looked bad. But, I realised that criticism shouldn’t put you down. After all, everyone is entitled to their opinion.”
