Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 28: Shahid Kapoor & Kiara Advani starrer has the fourth highest 4th week

A phenomenon that hit the box office almost a month back was Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh. The film released on June 21 and was off to a great start. The youth loved Shahid’s portrayal of an angry, doctor in love who goes out in a quest of self-destruction after his beloved Preeti played by Kiara is married off to someone else by her father. Shahid’s angry avatar surely kept the cash registers ringing and Kiara’s demure and subtle acting tugged at everyone’s heartstrings.
In terms of the box office, the film managed to rake in Rs 200 Crore in just 14 days and the team of Kabir Singh celebrated with a huge bash in Mumbai for which Kiara left her New Delhi shoot and came. Now, into its fourth week, Kabir Singh managed to keep the cash register ringing and kept steady the box office. In the fourth week, Kabir Singh managed to earn Rs 15 Crore nett which took the total close to Rs 262 Crore. Though there was a drop of 55% in earnings in the fourth week, Shahid and Kiara’s film maintained its hold. 
The film is helmed by Sandeep Vanga and is a Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda. When Kabir Singh was declared a hit, Vijay sent over special wishes to Kiara and Shahid as well. The film has managed to have the fourth highest 4th week ever and has left behind Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Despite the new releases like Article 15 and Super 30, Kabir Singh maintained its hold over the box office and minted moolah throughout the month.
