Box Office Report: Slow start for Aishwarya-Irrfan's 'Jazbaa'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan starrer 'Jazbaa' has been off to a slow start with the film collecting Rs. 3.75 to Rs 4 crores approximately on day one.

According to Box Office India, 'Jazbaa' opened to mixed reviews and performed better in Mumbai and Delhi ciruits. The film is dependent on word of mouth and its fate will be known after its Saturday collections.

Going with the trade reports, it seems the film will pick up pace on Saturday. With no major movie releasing next week, it might work in favour of this Sanjay Gupta directed affair.

Meanwhile, 'Talvar' is continuing its strong run with collections around 1.50 crore nett on day eight taking the business to Rs. 17 crore nett. Whereas, 'Singh Is Bling' earned Rs. 1.50-1.60 crore nett on day 8, making a grand total of Rs. 63.50 crores.
