EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Arshad Warsi CLEARS the air on Munna Bhai 3 going on floors in 2019
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Arshad Warsi, the actor cleared the air about his comments of Munna Bhai 3 going on floors. The Golmaal Again (2017) actor also spoke about his reunion with Sanjay Dutt at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding reception.
Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003) and Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) have proved to many how a successful franchise should be made. The characters of Munna and his sidekick Circuit have become immortal now as Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi added their own spin into them. While Munna Bhai Chale America was on the pipelines, a few years ago, Sanjay's court case put everything on hold. Now, Munna Bhai 3 is currently in its scripting stage. Arshad recently made headlines when he revealed that Munna Bhai 3's script is almost ready and may go on floors by mid or end of 2019.
The hysteria surrounding his comments were deemed as confirmation about the movie going on floors. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Pinkvilla, Warsi clarified his comment and stated, "Really? I did not! It's not true. There's no date, there's no time. I'll tell you what the truth is. The truth is that the last time I had a chat with Raju (Rajkumar Hirani), he mentioned that the script is being worked on. It's doing well and moving fast and smooth. Hopefully, by the end of 2019, he's planning to start shooting. These are all desires and wishes and they could not be true, or they could happen, could not happen. But that's how it is." 
We do hope that Munna Bhai 3 releases soon and we get to see Munna and Circuit yet again!
Arshad and Sanjay had a 'jadoo ki jhappi' reunion when they bumped into each other at the red carpet of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer's Singh's wedding reception. About the reunion, Arshad revealed, "It's fabulous. You saw it in the pictures. It was so nice because he's been busy with work, I've been busy with work. It was just perfect timing that he landed up at Ranveer and Deepika's reception and Maria (Goretti, wife) and I landed at the same time. I saw him and was elated. It was nice and you can see it in the pictures, the relationship we share."
