Box Office Report: Bajirao Mastani, Dilwale Hold Up Well on Day 6
After witnessing a drop of over 50% on Monday from its Friday collections, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's Dilwale is holding up well at the Box Office. The film made INR 8.25 crores on Wednesday, taking the India total to INR 89.25 crores.
On the other hand, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra's Bajirao Mastani is rock steady! The film has earned INR 9.25 crores on Wednesday, making the grand total of INR 73.50 crores.
With the Christmas weekend coming close, both the films are bound to get some boost in the weekend collections. The advantage that Bajirao Mastani has is that the film is strong in Mumbai circuit and the positive word of mouth is quite strong.
Also, given that Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases this weekend in India, we shall have to wait and watch how the movies perform at the BO in their second weekend!
