The tenth Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan, was born on 16 August 1970, to Sharmila Tagore and late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. Saif made his acting debut in Yash Chopra’s Parampara, but in the 1990s, Saif Ali Khan’s movies didn’t do well at the BO and it was only in 1999, that Khan got a chance to redeem himself with the movie Hum Saath Saath Hai, Dil Chahta Hai and Kal Ho Naa Ho. Soon after, Saif Ali Khan established himself as the lead actor and earned critical acclaim and awards such as National Film Award, six Filmfare Awards and the Padma Shri. After marrying actress Amrita Singh in 1991, the couple had two children, Sara and Ibrahim. However, the couple separated in 2004. Later, in 2012, Saif Ali Khan married Kareena Kapoor in a private ceremony in Mumbai. In 2017, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan became parents to a baby boy, Taimur. Besides acting, Saif Ali Khan is actively involved various charitable causes and in 2014, Khan was appointed as an ambassador for Olympic Gold Quest and donated 2 million to help raise funds for the training of athletes.
