According to Money Today's recent report via Allkpop, Crash Landing on You fame Son Ye-jin is a proud owner of a building in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, which is in Seoul, South Korea. This isn't the gorgeous actress' first building purchase as back in 2015, Ye-jin bought an old building in Seogyo-dong, Seoul, for 9.35 billion won (USD 8.18 million) and later sold it in February 2018 for an impressive 13.5 billion won (USD 11.8 million).
As for the Sinsa-dong building, Ye-jin reportedly purchased the property in July 2019 for a whopping 16 billion won (USD 14 million) and has finished paying off the mortgage on the building as recent as last month in September. According to an official, MT was informed that Ye-jin paid 4.4 billion won (USD 3.851 million) in cash while receiving a loan of 11.6 billion won (USD 10.15 million) in order to buy the building under her sole name.
While we're yet to even dream about owning a building, congrats to Ms. Ye-jin!
Meanwhile, post her terrific performance as Yoon Se-ri opposite Hyun Bin's Ri Jung-hyuk in Crash Landing on You, Ye-jin may have tapped her Hollywood debut alongside Sam Worthington and Lee Sun-gyun in Andrew Niccol's Cross. Moreover, it was previously reported that filming for Cross may commence in Korea from March 2021.
Moreover, Ye-jin was also in talks to play the titular character in a Princess Pyeonggang series. However, when Kim So-hyun was later confimed to star in the historical drama, it was made clear that Ye-jin had turned down the offer.
