Zendaya has a million things to be thankful for this year. From Spider-Man: Far From Home to her hit show Euphoria, Zendaya has been the talk of the town all year long. Thanksgiving was no different. The actress received the GQ Australia 2019 ‘Woman of the Year’ award this week. The 23-year-old star dazzled on the red carpet before she made her way on the stage and received the award. Editor-in-chief of Vogue Australia Edwina McCann presented the award to Zendaya.

Zendaya walked up to the stage to receive her award and deliver a heartfelt acceptance speech. "Woman of the Year, that's kind of crazy considering that I'm just 23 years old and trying to figure out how to become a woman myself,” she began her speech. "I feel like sometimes I go, and I go, and I go — and I think a lot of us can relate to this — but you go so hard and sometimes you forget to just kind of stop and take in moments like this," she added. "Sometimes, I feel like I work so much I forget about life, and to actually be present in these kinds of moments where you can look around the room amongst people that you appreciate and just take it in. And just be happy...and just be alive for a second," she continued, "So that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna take a second, look around, and be like 'Holy shit, this is happening. Pretty cool.'”

Concluding her speech, she said, "And please, everyone take a look around at just how beautiful everything is. And just enjoy it." We absolutely adore this young legend. Zendaya is going to be seen next in Dune. The film hits cinemas in 2020. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
