Whats the one thing you turn to when you're feeling sleepy and tired? A cup of strong coffee because it holds the power to wake you right up and helps you feel energetic and alert. But this cup of magic can do a lot more than just wake you up. A strong cup of coffee can also work some of it's magic on your hair. Yes, not many people really think about it or use this magic ingredient for their hair. Using a little bit of coffee for a hair remedy can be a wonderful way of pampering your tresses and help them grow healthier. Not many of us have used coffee for anything more than a scrub to exfoliate your skin but it can actually help you achieve healthy and happy hair. Coffee can accelerate hair growth and exfoliate the scalp and improve blood circulation as well which in turn helps strengthen your hair and improve their quality.

Here are some coffee hair masks that can help you achieve healthy hair:

1. Mix 3 tablespoons of coffee with one egg. Beat it well and make a smooth paste, try using fresh coffee ground if possible. Apply this mask from the root to the tips of your hair and ensure that you cover your complete hair. Gently massage some of this mixture onto your scalp for a few minutes and then leave the mask for 15 minutes before you shampoo your hair.

2. Mix 2 tablespoons of coffee ground with equal aounds of honey and mix it well to make a smooth paste. Now apply this mask all over your hair and scalp and cover each strand. Let this mask stay for about 40 minutes and let your hair soak all the nourishment. Rinse and wash it with your regular shampoo.

3. Mix 2 tablespoons of coffee powder with equal amounts of curd and add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to this mix and make a smooth paste and avoid lumps. Now apply this paste all over your hair and scalp and cover it with a shower cap and leave it for 30 to 40 minutes before washing it with lukewarm water.

4. Mix 2 tablespoons of coffee ground with one tablespoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of fresh aloe vera gel. Mix all the ingredients together and make a smooth paste. Apply this on your hair and gently massage some in your scalp. Let it dry and then rinse and shampoo your hair with a mild shampoo after 20 minutes.
