EXCLUSIVE: Raashi Khanna starts shooting with Shahid Kapoor in Goa from today; Plays a bureaucrat in the show
The Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK directed web series will be shot in Goa for a month, after which the team will move to Mumbai. Read on for more details on the show.
Last month Shahid Kapoor officially confirmed that he is doing a web show with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK by sharing a selfie with the filmmakers. A day later, he announced that south actress Raashi Khanna would also be a part of this upcoming action-thriller. “@raashikhannaoffl welcome on board. And thanks for letting me be a part of your selfie. I feel blessed,” the actor wrote on his Instagram story. Raashi was quick to respond stating, "Why are you hiding? @shahidkapoor Am I so intimidating..?” Well, their fun chemistry is clearly evident on social media, and Pinkvilla now has a new update on this duo.
We have learnt that the actress has joined the cast of the Raj and DK show in Goa and she will start shooting for it from today. “Raashi reached Goa yesterday and has started shooting with Shahid from today. They have an interesting relationship in the show which starts from dating and they eventually fall in love. Raashi plays a bureaucrat in the series, while Shahid’s character doesn’t really have one particular profession. They will be shooting in Goa for around a month,” informs a source close to the development. 
The second schedule is set in Mumbai. “Overall it's a 100-day schedule which is divided in multiple cities. There are plans to shoot in an international location too but it will all finally depend on the Covid situation. Vijay Sethupathi will join the team at a later stage,” adds the source.
Meanwhile, Shahid will next be seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Jersey, which is scheduled to release on November 5, 2021. Raj and DK’s The Family Man 2 was earlier scheduled to unveil on February 12, but the makers recently announced that it has now been pushed for a summer release.
