Kangana Ranaut has been on a roll after Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The talented actor-director recently made headlines when she was picked to portray former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. Kangana was picked to play the role of the iconic woman leader by the director by A. L. Vijay and the producer, Vishnu Vardhan Induri. The film is said to be based on the life and times of the former CM and Kangana will also be taking Tamil lessons for the same.

However, a few days back, reports started coming in with regards to Kangana's remuneration for J Jayalalitha's biopic and an entertainment portal stated that the director, A L Vijay mentioned that stories about Kangana's remuneration were fake. Now, Pinkvilla got in touch with the producer, Vishnu Vardhan Induri who mentioned that Kangana will be getting every bit of the salary she deserves. He even clarified that the quote which is circulating under the director's name among some entertainment portals is completely fake. He stated that his director, AL Vijay, hasn't spoken to anyone about the remuneration that Kangana will get.

Vishnu Vardhan Induri, producer of Kangana Ranaut's Jayalalitha Biopic spoke exclusively to Pinkvilla and stated, "Kangana deserves every bit of remuneration she is getting, we are very happy to have her in our team, but the details can’t be disclosed it’s a matter between the talent and the producer no one else is authorised to talk about it." Thus, the producer stood by Kangana who will be seen playing the charismatic female leader in the multilingual film. J Jayalalitha's biopic will be titled Thalaiva and will be one of the most challenging roles that Kangana will be acing.

It's nobody's business what she makes.

Please save Tamil film industry from this mental. Isn't it enough that bollywood is going through the torture, why disturb other film industries too?

Hysterical haters can swallow her success.LOL!

Of course she is because she’s a boss!

I honestly wish that Vijay is strong enough to handle this controversial lady who lives and feeds on fights. If they stand up to her they and their work is replaced, if they are non controversial they are called spineless. Either way she needs to be in every frame on film and on driver’s seat behind the screen. Interesting to see where this director ends up. How many times it should happen so that people come out of this mind set that they can handle this lady?

How sexist!!!???

she’s obviously exaggerating at remuneration. this kind of film isn’t exactly a money spinner and can justify a big budget.

Movie is the reason for poltical statments

these director and producer are unnecessarily wasting their time with this lady, she is bad gal

Oppositions are burning, look at the comments. Thumbs up KR.

When will filmmakers realise that both Kangana and Emran Hashmi only sell in small budget films. There is no point casting them in big budget movies, as the makers struggle to recover back there investment.

which means that she circulated a fake news and then bullied the director to keep it vague.

RIP haters

Kangana deserves it! She is a rockstar.

Which means she is not getting what was claimed to be the amount previously.

How does it mean that?
