Gehraiyaan

Gehraiyaan is a movie that primarily centres around two couples, Alisha (Deepika Padukone) and Karan (Dhairya Karwa), and Tia (Ananya Panday) and Zain (Siddhant Chaturvedi). Alisha is a yoga instructor in Mumbai and is developing a yoga-based app that requires funding. She has a strained relationship with her father, Vinod, and has not yet come out of the trauma of losing her mother, who died by suicide. Alisha has been in a relationship with Karan, an advertising professional who quit his job to write his novel, for six years. However, their relationship develops cracks due to a lack of communication. Alisha's cousin, Tia, invites them to her beach house in Alibaug to meet her boyfriend, Zain, who is a self-made man in the realty business. The foursome meets and Alisha and Zain get attracted to each other without their partners' knowledge. After having a good time in Alibaug, they return to Mumbai. Zain and Alisha keep in touch secretly, and Zain raises funds for Alisha's app. Karan relocates to Alibaug to finish his novel, and Tia leaves for the USA to settle family legal issues, providing an opportunity for Alisha and Zain to start an affair. Zain and Alisha connect over their difficult past experiences and engage in a hidden romantic relationship. Alisha breaks up with Karan after realising he had not been earning and hiding the fact that a publishing house declined his novel. Zain promises to end his affair with Tia but has to wait for six months. At a party celebrating Zain and Tia's third anniversary, Zain is informed by his business associate that they are going to be in a big financial mess. Alisha informs Zain that she is pregnant with his child, leading to the rest of the film's events, which are filled with drama and emotions.
