EXCLUSIVE: Not Mental Hai Kya, Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 to now clash with Ekta Kapoor's Jabariya Jodi?
After avoiding a clash with Ekta's other film Mental Hai Kya, Hrithik has now planned to go head on with the ace producer's other venture Jabariya Jodi.
Two weeks ago, there was a huge hullabaloo when Ekta Kapoor announced that her film Mental Hai Kya, starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao, will hit screens on the same day as Hrithik Roshan's Super 30. The news had created a ruckus on social media bringing back ugly memories and mud slinging that happened during the infamous Hrithik-Kangana scandal that hit headlines.
After Ekta's big announcement, there was again huge row that erupted once the netizens started another conversation on the issue. Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel quickly came to her defense and soon, Hrithik sent out a public statement claiming that he's shifting the release of his movie to a later date. Initially, both Mental Hai Kya and Super 30 were releasing on July 26, 2019. After Hrithik put out the tweet, speculations have been rife about the film's release date but the makers haven't made a formal announcement yet.
Now, we can inform you that Sajid Nadiadwala and Duggu have mutually agreed on a particular release window. "They want to now come on the same day as Ekta's other film Jabariya Jodi, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra. Super 30 is being readied for a July 12 release, two weeks before its original date. They are going to make it official soon. The team is sure of hitting the marquee on that day. Now, it needs to be seen if Ekta decides to move her project to some other day or she plans to take Hrithik head on at the plexes."
