After enjoying the success of her last film Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone is all set for Meghna Gulzar's upcoming release Chhapaak. The movie is based on the life of the acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal who now speaks for the rights of acid attack victims. Deepika has started working on the biopic of Laxmi, who was attacked at the minor age of 15 in 2005. Chhapaak also stars Mirzapur fame Vikrant Massey and is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020. Deepika's first look of the film has already been revealed.

Deepika Padukone was spotted at Janpath, in New Delhi today. Apparently, she was at Fab India to shoot for Chhapaak. The actor was in her film's avatar and was wearing a yellow kurta. In fact, Laxmi was also attacked at the same place and the resemblance to the clothes was just uncanny. The makers have been shooting in Delhi since ten days and are set to shift to Noida for further schedule.

When Laxmi was asked about her first reaction on seeing Deepika's look in Meghna Gulzar's film, she said, "I was happy to see Deepika's first look from the film. I was feeling good that a celebrity has come in that look.'' Laxmi further added, "A lot of make-up artistes changed a natural face to acid distorted face. And I felt, see, they are finding beauty in an acid-burnt face."

Deepika is a true star. Love the fact that she has reached great heights in her career and is still so humbled.

Deep you are the best actress ever in the bollywood industry

Hey deeps do not give away too much. Surprise the audience. Too much promotion kills the surprise element and there is not much to look forward to.

What's the surprise? I mean the movie is based on a real person. I think we all know how the story ends.

the makeup is amazing

So much nautanki... Just do the movie man.
