Karan is a prominent name in the entertainment industry and has been a part of the TV shows for a long time now. The actor rose to stardom with his stint in the popular daily soap 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' where he essayed the role of Naitik Singhania. He starred opposite Hina Khan, and their pair was a big hit amongst their fans. Karan received immense love for his role as a simple, understanding and supportive husband. The actor rang on his 40th birthday on September 10. He shared a post recently where he offered a few glimpses of his birthday celebration.
Karan Mehra shared a post on social media of him celebrating his birthday with his family including his father, mother and brother. He could not celebrate the day with his son as he is with his estranged-wife Nisha Rawal. Karan shared happy pictures with his family as he cut the cake. He captioned it as, “'Life is a book and your 40s are the chapters when it all starts making sense' Happy 40th Birthday to me My life, my love, my strength, my pillars, my core, my belief, my hope, my inspiration, my family Love you Papa, Mom, Kunal Kove and Kugs to all my friends and fans for sending me their wishes and support.”

He also featured in the Jubin Nautiyal, Rochak Kohli's song 'Bewafa Tera Masoom Chehra'. Speaking of his film career, Karan appeared in the movie Love Story 2050.
