PINKVILLA EXCLUSIVE: I will maintain my relation with everybody except for Aman Verma” - Kishwer Merchantt

Big Boss season 9 saw a lot of contestants been locked-up under one roof for over a long period of several weeks. While, some cribbed throughout and were homesick right from the very first day, some emerged as fighters. In this ‘survival of the fittest’ journey, one such contestant in spite of her domineering nature, won hearts of the viewers. She was Kishwer Merchantt. We at Pinkvilla.com got in touch with the bride-to-be and here is what she had to tell us about her wedding, her equation with the housemates and why she thinks Big Boss has been unfair to her.

How has your journey in Big Boss been?

It has been great! Very beautiful! It was like a life changing experience except for the last task (giggles)! During the last task which went on for 36 hours, we (Kishwer and Prince) had to decide upon one thing. It would have been very selfish on my part to say that Tu jaa, main nahi ja rahi, something that even he (Prince) did not say! So I understood that he was not willing to go and the conversation was going now where. Someone had to make the sacrifice; I was the bigger person who made the sacrifice.

Now that you are out of the house, do you regret of having made that decision?

I did regret it because I I did not want to go.  I had promised Suyyash that I will stay till the end. But the last three days before I left the house, I faced quite a lot of jinxed situations! Suyyash made me feel good when he asked me not to feel bad about anything. He said, “Jo decision liya hai aapne, woh achche keliye liya hai. No need to feel guilty or regretful about anything.”

 How will you term your equation with Mandana, Priya and even Rishabh?

With Mandana it was always quite on and off! During the tasks we did have our own situational tempers but it was not every time that we abused or hit each other on purpose. We did perform tasks with co-operation and coordination. With Priya we fought only once during the car task. But I really like Priya as a person. Bohot hi achhi hai woh. I have told her this as well. She is very good at heart! Rishabh thoda confusing hai; Kabhi yeh kehta hai, kabhi woh kehta hai. But whatever issues we had, had in the house.  Bahar aake we will be normal.

So do you plan to maintain a cordial relationship with everybody once the game is over?

Yeah. I will maintain my relation with everybody except for Aman Verma. I will kind of stay away from him.

During the last task, do you think it was right to put you and Prince in a fix especially at this point of the game?

No. I think it was completely unfair. Even if it was me and Mandana stuck up in the last task, it still would have been unfair. I mean after qualifying all these weeks successfully, you reach this stage in the game and come to know that one of the contestants will anyway have to leave the house. It was a very unfair situation jahan par main aur Prince phanse hue the.

What is your take on Prince and Nora’s relation, since we also saw him falling for Yuvika in the initial stages of Big Boss?

With Yuvika it was just one-sided, just from Prince’s end. But with Nora it was very clear ki dono taraf se hai.  But, we told that jabtak tum baahar nahi jaate,ghar se bahar nahi milte, tab tak you will not understand what is exactly in your mind. Ghar mein you can’t decide. 

In your entire journey of Big boss which where your happy moments and sad moments in the house?

Well, I will consider all moments to be happy except for the last task. Whatever I did in the house, mann se kiya. There were times when Mandana and I fought; but on a whole, I enjoyed my journey throughout. Given an option, I can still stay in the Big Boss house for more two months without any issue.

Whom do you think will win Big Boss season 9?

I definitely want to see Prince to win the game. If not Prince, I will want to see Keith won the game. I want Prince to win, Keith to be the first runner up and Priya to be the second runner up.

When is marriage on cards?

Well, definitely this year itself. Talks are on.

 Now that you are out of the house, what are your plans currently?

I am literally doing whatever I want. We (Her close buddies in Big Boss) have decided to travel all around. We have decided to travel to Chandigarh to Prince’s house.  Rochelle, me, Suyyash, Nora, Keith, we may go on for a small trip to Manali as well.
