Born on 28 November 1988, Yami Gautam is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi as well as Telugu films. Born in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, Yami Gautam, at a tender age, aspired to join the Indian Administrative Services, but at the age of 20, Yami decided to start her acting career, so much so that Yami left her studies midway to pursue acting. Before films, Yami’s television stint started with Chand Ke Paar Chalo, followed by Raajkumar Aaryyan, and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. Thereafter, Yami Gautam made her film debut in Kannada film Ullasa Utsaha. Subsequently, Gautam got her Bollywood debut movie opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Donor. In 2011, Yami made her Telugu debut with Ravi Babu’s film Nuvvila. Due to her acting talent, Yami has received critical acclaim for her acting and continued to appear in Bollywood movies which include Eeshwar Nivas’s Total Siyappa, Prabhu Deva’s Action Jackson, Divya Khosla Kumar’s Sanam Re, and Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil.
