- Bhagyashree is a trained Odissi dancer and has also learned Kathak. She is a fitness enthusiast and practices yoga regularly.
- Bhagyashree is from the royal Patwardhan family of Sangli, Maharashtra; her grandfather was the last ruling Raja of Sangli during the British Raj.
