Alleged involvement in a bar brawl: In 1998, Bobby Deol and his friends were allegedly involved in a brawl at a Mumbai bar. It was reported that they assaulted a DJ who had refused to play their requested songs. However, the case was later settled out of court. Plagiarism allegations: Bobby Deol's film Bardaasht (2004) was accused of plagiarism by the makers of the Hollywood movie Double Jeopardy (1999). The case was settled out of court.
