Avengers 5: New team sans Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans to release on THIS date?
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige had teased that a new Avengers movie could come our way. An MCU leaker might have just revealed the possible release date.

When the curtains drew at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans were unclear about MCU. With the death of Iron Man and Black Widow, and Captain America passing the shield to The Falcon, the OG Avengers were disintegrated in the Russo Brothers directorial. However, Kevin Feige has teased that some new Avengers will assemble for yet another battle and protect the universe. While no details are available about the new squad, the Marvel Studios producer teased it will be an eccentric team.
Now, a new report teases a possible release date of the next Avengers movie. Reported by MovieWeb, a renowned MCU leaker has taken to Twitter to reveal details about the new Avengers. MCU expert Charles Murphy, who leaked MCU Phase 4 details before the Comic-Con, began spilling the beans on the possible release date of projects that are in the making but not discussed at SDCC. This included Black Panther 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.
We'd suggest that you take this with a pinch of salt. So, the leaker has revealed that Black Panther 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are eyeing a release dates of February 18th and May 6th, 2022, respectively. While this has us pumped, it was another date mentioned that has everyone's attention. He announced an MCU movie is coming our way on May 3rd or 10th, 2024 but he hasn't mentioned the title of the movie. Instead, he left an open mouth emoji. This has paved a way to a lot of speculations that the movie in discussion could be Avengers 5.
With no mention of Avengers 5 at the SDCC, we smell an announcement coming our way at the D23 taking place in a few days. Talking about the new Avengers, Kevin had said that the movie will be set up through the next two phases. "Well it’s what I love about the Marvel comic method of storytelling. That’s not anything we invented, I love that things build up, they build to a crescendo, they all get together, they separate, they change. And now we get to do that, not just in movies but in these mega event series on Disney Plus has just invigorated all of us at Marvel Studios to keep going," he said, according to Screen Geek.
