Pinkvilla’s Review

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is an exceptional romantic comedy that successfully celebrates the values of family and love, with a good mix of situational comedy and a memorable music album. The writing is commendable, and the dialogues are both funny and thought-provoking. The film's first half rides on the lighter side of romance, while the intermission block sets the conflict right. The plot points in the second half are unpredictable, making the film more engaging. Ranbir Kapoor excels in his comic timing, and Shraddha Kapoor's ease as an actor is delightful to watch. Anubhav Singh Bassi makes a formidable debut, while Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor bring in laughter at frequent intervals. Overall, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is a unique big-screen entertainer, which will leave the audience with a smile on their faces.
