Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson were a part of a very heartbreaking scene in Avengers: Endgame.

Jeremy Renner is an integral part of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) as he is an OG 6 Avenger along with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson. The actor plays Hawkeye aka Clint Barton, who had a key role in Avengers: Endgame. *SPOILERS ALERT* One of the most heartbreaking sequences in Avengers: Endgame was when Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff sacrificed herself so that Clint could get the soul stone in Vormir. It was amongst the most shocking scenes that stunned all to silence.

Renner took to Instagram to share a shot of himself from that gut-wrenching scene as he stares longingly at Scarlett. Jeremy and ScarJo are very close friends in real life so we can imagine how hard it was to shoot for them. Even at the LA premiere of Avengers: Endgame, when the end credits rolled, you could see that the duo was in tears.
