Anurag Kashyap's love triangle drama starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal released on Friday (September 14, 2018). The film opened to mixed reviews from the critics. The audience is loving the film and can't get enough of Abhishek, Taapsee and Vicky's performances and the music of the film which is composed by Amit Trivedi. The film is set in the backdrop of Punjab.

This love triangle is a modern take on love about how people are unsure of what they from the relationship. Along with Manmarziyaan, two other films released this Friday - Love Sonia and Mitron. As reported by Box Office India, Anurag Kashyap's film had a slow start on its first day. Manmarziyaan made a collection of Rs 3.25 at the box office on Friday. The response for the film was good in Delhi NCR and East Punjab, reports BOI.

In the film, Vicky plays a cool and carefree Punjabi boy Vicky, a DJ by profession. Taapsee essays the role of Rumi, a fierce and straight-forward girl who is very good at hockey. Abhishek Bachchan is a sweet and kind person Robbie, who is a banker. He is kind but he won't let someone take his kindness for granted. The trailer had received a great response from the audience.
