The movie's screenplay will become a part of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Library. The Academy has requested the makers for the screenplay. Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that the Oscars academy has requested the makers of the film give them a copy of the screenplay of the film.
Shelly Chopra Dhar’s directorial debut which deals with the subject of homosexual love, has been doing very well at the box office and the audiences have given it a thumbs up. Now, with the most prestigious Academy requesting for the screenplay, it surely is a great achievement for the cast and crew of the film. The movie shows the story of a girl named Sweety, played by Sonam, who is from a small town and is in love with another girl. However, her family wants her to marry a guy as they are not aware of her secret. She meets a playwright played by Rajkummar Rao who helps her in revealing her secret to her father played by Anil Kapoor.
