La Familia: Tiger Shroff’s sister Krishna says they are best friends; Adds her pals always found him very HOT

Joker actor Joaquin Phoenix once reportedly said, “It was wonderful to grow up with so many siblings. We were all just a year or two apart, and we were always so supportive of each other.” I am sure we all agree with the sentiment of this Academy Award winning actor. Our siblings are usually our first best friends, and actor Tiger Shroff shares the same equation with his sister Krishna. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Krishna reveals some lesser known facts about her darling brother.

The superstar actor is usually perceived as shy and introverted, but Krishna introduced us to a different side of him. “As a child, Tiger was actually a lot naughtier than he is now. We call him a chabi (key), as he loved to instigate, poke and start the fire a little bit. However, it was all done in good fun. Having said that, he is also an introvert, not a very social person and has a limited circle who gets to see all these sides of him. He also has a very dry sense of humour, and would say the funniest of things with a straight face,” laughs Krishna, reiterating that she is indeed the Baaghi actor’s best friend.

“I don’t think there is one person in this world who I trust a hundred percent, except for him. There is complete transparency between us, and whenever we need any advice, we first go to each other. We are each other’s biggest critics and the biggest support too,” says Krishna, quickly adding that they have had their Tom & Jerry moments too. “The way we used to fight as kids was hilarious. Back then he was super tiny and I was massive. But he always had speed over me which would be really frustrating. It would truly be sight to see the two of us running around the house,” she cracks up again.

Krishna informs that Tiger wasn’t very studious as a child and both of them attended school just because they were in the sports team. “We stayed in a building which was full of kids of our age, so during free time we would play football, basketball, cricket and so much more. Tiger had also started learning Karate and Taekwondo when he was very young. He was always enthusiastic about fitness and sports, even before he became an actor,” recalls Krishna.

Was he popular with the girls too? “Always. As far back as I can remember, I would always have my friends talking about how hot my brother is,” Krishna informs, adding that she is extremely protective of Tiger. “He is very kind, in fact too kind for this world. So I always keep my guard up for him.”

She further informs that they are both extremely close to their parents Jackie and Ayesha Shroff, but Tiger’s more close to his mother, while Krishna is a daddy’s girl. “We have also had some lovely family holidays, but Goa has been very special for all of us. It became like our second home, and we would be there three times a year when we were kids. We even learnt to swim there. Those holidays for us were like a combination of beach, swimming and bike rides,” reminisces Krishna.

She recalls the time when Tiger started thinking about becoming an actor. “I don’t know the exact time, but I remember he had gone to the States for college. He had got a scholarship to play basketball. But he is such a family guy and loves the city so much, that he literally came back in five days. My mom had gone with him to settle him in there, so he told her that if she lets him come back to Mumbai he promised to work extremely hard and make everyone proud. And subconsciously the idea of being an actor was always there. So upon his return for the US, he gave acting a shot, and it has indeed worked out beautifully for him,” says the proud sister adding, “I always tell him that he is closest to a superhero in reality, which is why he is such a favourite with the kids too,” Krishna signs off.
