Sonam is the eldest daughter, Rhea and Harshvardhan being her younger siblings. After completing her studies in Singapore, Sonam assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the film Black and later, in 2007, made her acting debut with Bhansali’s movie Saawariya. After a series of unsuccessful movies, Sonam proved her mettle with the movie Raanjhanna, Khoobsurat, and Neerja. Sonam Kapoor is the recipient of several awards including one Filmfare and three Stardust Awards. Besides acting, Sonam supports various charities such as awareness of breast cancer and LGBT rights. Sonam Kapoor made an appearance in the music video of Coldplay ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ and lately, Sonam has announced that she will be making her international debut soon. Also, recently, Sonam launched an app based entirely on her life. Named ‘Sonam Kapoor’, the app is a one-stop destination for purchasing her fashion, beauty secrets to fitness tips. On 8th May 2018, Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with her longtime beau, Anand Ahuja. Produced by Rhea Kapoor, Sonam did a movie titled "Veere Di Wedding", which was a box office hit.
