EXCLUSIVE: Not Dostana 2, Rajkummar Rao and Karan Johar to team up for another project, CONFIRMS the actor
Rajkummar Rao reacted to rumours of being approached for Dostana 2 and Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan, in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla. Read on.
Rajkummar Rao will soon be making us go hyperventilating with his hot and happening avatar in Judgementall Hai Kya. In the movie, Rajkummar is paired alongside Kangana Ranaut. This is Rajkummar's second movie with Kangana which releases on July 26, 2019. Apart from this, Rajkummar's lineup includes Made in China, Roohiafza, Turram Khan, among others. In an exclusive interview with PINKVILLA, we asked Rajkummar about the rumours of him playing gay characters in Dostana 2 and Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan.
Rajkummar told PINKVILLA, "No, I am not doing Dostana 2 and neither Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan." Now, we know that he isn't doing Dostana 2 given that Kartik Aaryan has been officially announced to be a part of the movie. When asked if he was even approached for Dostana 2, Rajkummar added, "About Dostana 2, I met Karan [Johar]. Of course, I have immense respect for him but this one did not work out but I am sure very soon you will hear something very exciting from both of us." Well, we can't wait for Karan and Rajkummar's collaboration to happen soon!
Coming to Dostana 2, recently Karan took to social media to announce that Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor have been locked in to play the main leads. The team is on the lookout for 'a suitable boy' to play the other guy in the second part. Most importantly, Kartik and Janhvi are not paired opposite each other in Dostana 2. In fact, they are playing siblings in the film, if our sources are to be believed.
