Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan will soon be seen on-screen in Rohit Shetty's directorial, Simmba. Reports suggested that Simmba's release date may get delayed. Read below to know the entire truth.
Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty is a collaboration made in Masala entertaining heaven and Simmba is shaping up to be the most anticipated movie of 2018. In Simmba, we will see Ranveer as the tough cop and opposite the actor as his love interest is newcomer Sara Ali Khan. Sonu Sood plays the main antagonist and will be pitted against Ranveer's character in the movie, loosely inspired by the Telegu hit, Temper (2015). Ranveer has already wrapped shooting for Simmba, ahead of his wedding with Deepika Padukone.
Recently, rumours went rife that Simmba's release date, which is December 28, 201, has been delayed to a new date. However, a source revealed to us that the speculations are completely false and that the film will release on the original date announced. "Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba's release date is not rescheduled. It is slated to release on December 28, 2018 only. Also, the trailer will be coming out on December 3, 2018." Now, that is indeed some good news to hear!

Meanwhile, Rohit was amongst the select few who was personally invited to attend Ranveer and Deepika's wedding at Lake Como, Italy. However, Shetty is immersed in work commitments - post-production of Simmba and shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi - and will not be able to attend the wedding.
However, Rohit will be attending the Mumbai wedding reception on November 28, 2018.
