EXCLUSIVE: Saif Ali Khan kickstarts Sacred Games Season 2 shoot in Mumbai
We got an EXCLUSIVE scoop that Sacred Games Season 2 has finally gone on floors today. Actors Saif Ali Khan and Neeraj Kabi were seen shooting for the show in Mumbai.
People were left shocked and curious when the first season of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan starrer Sacred Games ended. Several questions were left unanswered and fans couldn't stop expressing their restlessness for the second season on social media. Earlier, there were reports that Sacred Games season 2 might not witness a broad daylight. But Netflix rubbished all the reports by releasing a statement, "After an independent investigation, the results helped inform Netflix’s decision to continue with Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap on season 2 of Sacred Games. We continue to collaborate with our production partners to ensure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment."
Now over to some good news for all Sacred Games loyalists! A source revealed to Pinkvilla that Sacred Games Season 2 has gone on floors today. The source informed, "Saif Ali Khan has commenced shooting for the eagerly awaited season 2 of Sacred Games. Joining him was Neeraj Kabi, who plays the corrupted cop Parulkar. The shooting took place in a well-known college of South Mumbai and the set up was that of a police headquarters. Saif went through several costume changes as the troubled tough cop Sartaj Singh."

Netflix announced the second season of Sacred Games in the month of September but ran into trouble earlier this month when Phantom Films disbanded in a cloud of allegations against one of its partners, Vikas Bahl, and Grover. But they both have denied all the allegations.
The show is based on the book written by Vikram Chandra.
