Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan will soon kick-start shooting for their movie Coolie No 1, an official adaptation of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer Coolie No 1. The movie is being adapted and written by Farhad Samji and will be releasing next year on May 1, 2020. While announcing the movie, Varun and Sara had shared a poster of a porter's arm who touted himself to be a no 1 porter and well, that obviously has piqued our interest.
There are many reasons to wait for this movie, and now, Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that the iconic song Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha will be reprised for the adaptation. Yes, you read it right! A source informs, "Given the popularity of the track Main Toh Raste Se, the makers are planning to present the reprised version of the same to add to the nostalgia. However, the discussion on the same is at a very nascent stage currently." Well, this indeed adds to our excitement for the movie.
Varun and Sara are both full of energy and we can only expect fireworks from this pair. The two begin shooting for the movie sometime around August. Varun had in an interview earlier revealed that the movie is not a remake but a modern adaptation of the original. This is the first time Varun and Sara will be coming together for a movie and we can't keep calm.
